Pursuing the gifts of the Spirit is not optional to us. We need them to become all that Christ wants us to be. But far too often, our desires for them are not too strong but too weak. This is why God gives us 1 Cor 12:1-11. A passage meant to move us, change us, and stir our hearts to earnestly desire all the grace he has to give.
